'One of the first illustrating jobs I ever got
was with Comet, Explore and Challenge Magazines. And as a
young illustrator they kept me alive and allowed me to develop my art and learn about
humour. They were always full of interesting articles and good information, but the *best* thing was that they were also very *FUNNY*. So kids loved them and I loved working
on them too. And it is great that they are still being published.'
