  • Professional and Vocational Education produces information resources to help people obtain jobs or to do their jobs more effectively, publishing under the imprints Prentice Hall, Hospitality Press and Longman.

Pearson Education Australia Acquisitions Editors/Publishers specialise in different markets and subject areas. Your proposal should be submitted to the relevant Acquisitions Editor/Publisher for assessment of its content. If your proposal is accepted, your Acquisitions Editor/Publisher will be your main contact throughout the time you are working on your project and once it has been published.

The Production Process

Once your book or multi-media product moves into production, a Project Editor will be in contact with you to work through editing and design issues as they arise. Several months before your product is printed your Acquisitions Editor/Publisher works with the Marketing and Sales teams to develop a strategic positioning campaign that includes promotion through sales calling, conferences, direct mail and bookshops.
